Our Plant Based Wellness & Herbal Healing Retreat connects the dots between self care, community and sustainability. A 2-3 day venture with local herbalists, mindfulness leaders and detox enthusiasts. You’ll receive a plethora of knowledge and materials to jumpstart your journey.

Sample Itinerary (actual event itinerary from DC retreat):

  • FRIDAY (optional): Self Care & Sustainability event 5-8pm at GMU Potomac Heights Organic Vegetable Garden highlighting local environmental groups and wellness practitioners.

Invite your family and friends for an evening of community building to meet retreat participants and workshop leaders that you will spend all of Saturday with! We will feature holistic living resources, live music and plant based food!

Activities:
– GMU Greenhouse & Gardens Manager and their staff will be leading a tour to their hydroponic system, honey bee garden and interactive activities with compost, worm bin, herbs and fruit trees.
– Community vendors with resources on environmental alternatives and holistic living.
– Free plant based vegan food.
– Meet the local herbalists and wellness practitioners involved in theretreat.
– Learn more about sustainability at GMU: green buildings, campus gardens, stormwater management, wildlife areas, specialized programs and more.
